TopoGEN offers four monoclonal antibodies specific to domains of GyrA and GyrB. These reagents are excellent for use in Western blotting applications. The antibodies are sold on a volume basis (50 ul). Typically, one would dilute the antibody 1:1000 for routine western blotting with purified gyrase. With more crude extracts, a dilution fo 1:200-1:500 would be better. The exact dilution needs to be worked out empirically in each investigator's lab.
