T o TopoGEN is the first to provide highly purified Tdp1 (Tyrosyl DNA Phodphodiesterase) and related reagents. Tdp1 is the enzyme that removes the covalently bound topo from cleavage complexes. Our Tdp1 has excellent catalytic activity and is ideal for drug screening. Related reagents are a Tdp1 assay kit (for measuring Tdp1 activity in cells and tumors and for drug discovery) and anti-Tdp1 antibody. Tdp1 is showing excellent potential as a new combinatorial drug target, along with topo I. Some recent papers are now out on this exciting new target (go here).
